YCDSB TESL PRACTICUM CERTIFICATE PROGRAM INFORMATION
Thank you for your interest in the YCDSB TESL Practicum Certificate program!
This program has been established by the York Catholic District School Board’s Continuing Education Department to assist you in developing the knowledge and skills to become a certified ESL professional through practicum opportunities. The YCDSB has extensive experience delivering day, evening and Saturday ESL programs to adults. Based on this experience, we have developed a practical and effective TESL Practicum program that will provide you with an opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience through a comprehensive teaching practice in one of our YCDSB ESL classes and/or specialized language training programs. Our staff consists of qualified and experienced professionals. Upon completion of the YCDSB TESL Practicum Certificate Program, you will be provided with a certificate of completion.
The YCDSB TESL Practicum Program is approved and certified by TESL Ontario. You will need to submit the required documents to TESL Ontario for certification.
