Grade 8 Reaching Up: Learning Strategies

This course helps students become independent learners and increases their personal management skills, both in school and in their personal lives.

This course will help students;

• develop and apply a range of strategies to improve their learning
• develop their literacy, numeracy, communication and planning skills
• complete a career portfolio
• increase their confidence, motivation and ability to learn.

This course will count as one of the 30 credits required to graduate from High School.

Note: The student may only be granted one credit between GLS1O and GLE1O
