It’s never too early to expose your child to a new foreign language that will help them get a head start and encourage their intellectual and social development.
This program is offered during the school year (September to June) to students currently in grades JK-6 and in the summer during the month of July to students that will be entering JK-6 in September .
This program provides students with French language experiences in an interactive and artistic environment. Children will study the language through active participation and conversation. The sounds of grammar are introduced through dialogue that will help children develop basic French vocabulary and language skills.
This program features a mix of activities focusing on language, culture, art, and songs. By participating in games, audio visual experiences, music, and art activities, the student will become engaged in learning the French language.
A minimum of 15 students is required to start a class.
Decisions to run courses are based on sufficient student enrolment and teacher availability. YCDSB students will have first priority to programs.
