The Mackenzie Health Hospital and Scarborough Health Network Summer Co-operative Education Program
In partnership with the York Catholic District School Board and the York Region District School Board, Mackenzie Health Hospital as well as Scarborough Health Network provides excellent opportunities for students to fulfill the two-credit co-op SHSM requirement in the Health & Wellness or Business sectors.
As space in this program is limited, students are also strongly encouraged to apply to their respective board’s summer varied placements program, which offers additional opportunities in all SHSM sectors.
Upon successful completion of this co-op placement, students will be in a better position to make informed decisions about post-secondary education and training and employment opportunities within the health care sector.
