Co-Operative Education is a planned learning experience. Students earn credits towards an OSSD. The program integrates classroom theory with learning experiences in the community. Students are able to apply, expand and refine knowledge and skills acquired through a related curriculum course. These experiences assist students in exploring and preparing for future careers and in making a successful transition to post-secondary apprenticeship or the workplace. Students enrolled in Co-Op will be interviewed by the teacher in charge and a suitable placement will be arranged by the teacher. Please note that this course will run only if there are sufficient applicants and that there will be classes scheduled prior to the start date of the placement.
