LANGUAGE PROGRAM -  for students in Grades JK and 8

INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES - Grade JK to 8
Fall Dates:  Sept 23/17 - Jun 2/18
Exclusion dates:  Oct. 7, Dec. 23, 30, Jan. 6, Feb. 17, Mar. 10, 17, 31, May 19   

9:30 am - 12:00 pm  
Cost: $20
Decisions to run courses are based on sufficient student enrolment and teacher availability.  
YCDSB students will be given first priority to programs.

*A mandatory non-refundable consumable fee of $20 will be collected for the International Languages  program to cover the cost of expendable educational supplies and/or student workbooks.
ITALIAN -  International Languages    
**The Ministry of Education does not fund students who are enrolled in the same International Languages program during the day and on Saturdays.  If your child is currently taking the Italian Language program during the day, a program fee of $280.00 will apply.


    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION


International Languages classes (other than English and French) are offered outside regular school hours to all York Region elementary school children, currently in grades JK-8 at catholic schools throughout York Region.  The program is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education and will be of interest to students who wish to preserve their language, cultural heritage and traditions, and  to students who wish to study the language and heritage of another culture. We are unable to confirm individual registrations.  We will contact you ONLY if classes are cancelled or moved to another location, otherwise please bring your child to the first session at the location you have chosen.

A minimum of 23 students is required to start a class.
